The Philippine Business Registry (PBR) was launched yesterday, according to the DTI website. The PBR is a one-stop-shop online registration system for would-be entrepreneurs.With this, applicants need not appear physically in different government offices to register their businesses. The hassle of falling in line in several government offices is now a thing of the past.
The PBR integrates the systems of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the Social Security System (SSS), PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). More details can be found in the DTI website.
