If you're back in the Philippines and will be travelling within Metro Manila, a convenient traffic monitoring website was created by the MMDA, in partnership with TV5, to help motorists avoid traffic bottlenecks.

The website basically displays major Metro Manila highways/boulevards and its major intersections in three colors: Green for light traffic, Yellow for moderate traffic and Red for heavy traffic.

The major highways/boulevards/avenues are colored coded for easy reference. For example, EDSA is colored blue, Roxas Boulevard with a purple color, Quezon Avenue has a turquoise hue, etc.

Currently, the major roads covered are: EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, Quezon Avenue, Commonwealth Avenue, Shaw Boulevard, Ortigas Ave, SLEX (up to Alabang), Aurora Blvd, Espana, C5, and Marcos Highway (Marikina-Cainta). The MMDA traffic monitoring website can be accessed here.
